How Does iGive Work?
iGive is a platform that allows shoppers to support their favorite causes while shopping online. It partners with thousands of retailers who contribute a percentage of each purchase to the shopper's designated cause.
It costs nothing for causes to join or receive donations, and is free for shoppers — the funds are paid by the retailer as a rebate to the shopper which iGive faciliates into a donation. Learn more about how iGive works.
Getting Started with iGive
Step 1: Create a personal account
If you do not already have a personal account with iGive, you will need to create one. This account will allow you to list your cause on iGive.
Step 2: Check if your cause is already listed on iGive
When registering a personal account, you will be asked to search for a cause to support. Search for your cause to see if it is already listed. If so, select it and skip to step 4. If it isn't, continue to step 3.
Step 3: Add your cause to iGive
Didn't find your cause already listed? No problem! Under the searchbar where you searched for causes in step 2, you will see a link "Click here to Add a Cause." Click that link and follow the steps there to add your cause.
Step 4: Manage your cause on iGive
Regardless if you just added your cause, or chose it from the list of existing causes on iGive, you will need to ensure that you can login to the cause admin dashboard to manage your cause's information. Problems? Contact us.
Step 5: Promote iGive to your supporters
Free money! Your cause will receive a $5 bonus for every new supporter who joins iGive and makes their first purchase within 30 days of joining. Be sure to inform your supporters on social media, email, face-to-face, and on your website about how they can support your cause by shopping online with iGive.
